Wigan Athletic midfielder James McArthur was so excited about Arsenal and Bayern Munich's Champions League clash he risked missing the birth of his newborn.
McArthur, 26, tweeted a picture of his heavily pregnant wife in hospital but revealed he was loathe to swap watching the game for bedside vigil duties.
"Misses [sic.] is getting induced and hopefully having baby tonight but I ain't missing the footy," McArthur tweeted.
