Actress Jamie Brewer has made history by being the first model with down syndrome to strut her stuff on the catwalk at New York Fashion Week.
The American Horror Story actress made her debut on the runway yesterday wearing a black, fifties-style dress by designer Carrie Hammer, who hopes it will be snapped up by the likes of Michelle Obama.
Brewer walked as part of the Role Models Not Runway Models campaign, which represents real women in society and aims to quash the fashion industry's unrealistic beauty standards.
