Miss World sure has a thing or two to learn from Mr World: if only they ditched beach beauty and dress categories for 'extreme challenge' and 'multi-media' perhaps then we might take it more seriously.
The male version of the competition is taking place in Torbay, dubbed the "English Riviera' on the website, and features 46 hopefuls from all over the world.

The extreme challenge category is one of five, and involved going through a drill with the UK Royal Marine Commandos to test 'strength, endurance and determination' - they are all still alive, from what we hear.

Each round gains them points, and they will have been heavily scrutinised over the past two weeks. On Sunday, the 90-minute live stage show will be the peak of the competition, where the contestants will be narrowed down to finalists, before the judging panel makes a decision.
